Be happy

I must admit that it wasn’t the most relaxing couple of days, pretty harsh sleep-wise and with hubby also down with cold, it’s been extra harder. However grumpy I may get at the end of the day, it takes very little to remind me that all the tiredness is just a minor obstacle. One look into my daughter’s gorgeous little face cures it all 🙂
Little moments of me-time that I catch in the meantime help a lot as well, and I managed to have just that this evening, a wee little inky session that resulted in this card:

This is my loose take on the beautiful colous palette of PDCC181, as well as retrosketches #63:

It’s time for me to catch some sleep now. I’ll be back tomorrow with a fun Guest Design post. Later, peeps! xx

  1. Congratulations on the birth of little Julia, Chupa! I cannot even believe you had the time or energy to make this card…and it’s so pretty too! Love the pretty bright colors and the gorgeous butterfly!

  2. Beautiful! You are amazing – not only did you get inky, but you managed to fit it in 2 challenges! Julia is adorable. Congrats to you and your family and wishing you many joyful moments to scrap about!

  3. Love all the bright colors…stamped swirl BG, letters, butterfly, resin flower…well…everything! Sweet pic of the little one on sidebar!! Catch sleep when you can!!
