The June Waltzingmouse Blog Party is on, and we’re celebrating all things Summer! It feels nothing like it down under, it’s wet and gloomy, it’s been raining every day for almost a week now… But as we’re knee-deep in Autumn, who wouldn’t miss an opportunity for a little pick-up? Got no sunshine? Stamp it! 🙂
No wonder that my choice of a stamp set immediately fell on My Island. It’s an epitome of everything fabulous and summery. I’m actually not much a “tropical island vacay” kind of girl, but I adore this set.
I used my Versa Color ink cubes for the sponging, direct to paper. They’re my old trusty companions – not so juicy any more which helps me get an even coverage and perfect blending. With a fully juicy ink pad, there’s a greater risk of leaving smudges when working the ink in.
