Tis’ the time!!!

Well, I didn’t quite make it with more cards yesterday, I was so busy preparing food & wrapping presents…
Today I’m having Polish Christmas Eve with my Australian family, but my thoughts are also with my mum and dad in Poland, and my sister in England. I wish we were together today, sharing joy and love on this most wonderful occasion, but one can’t have everything, I suppose…
I’m so grateful to have them, wherever they are, as much as I’m grateful for my most wonderful Australian husband, his extraordinary family, and our cutest little baby girl.
This Christmas I’m spending the time thinking about how fortunate I am, being surrounded by such loving people, and being able to pursue my dreams and passions.
I’m looking forward to the New Year, surely it will be extraordinary too, because I BELIEVE in it.

I’d like to thank you all for all the love that you’ve been leaving on the pages of my blog, for your constant support and inspiration. What started a few months back as a little project, and housed few cards that were FAR from decency, grew to what it’s now, with your immense help. If not you, I wouldn’t go that far, neither I’d learn so much. You ROCK!!

This is my last post this year - on Boxing Day we’re leaving for South Australia for a little vacation. You know… beach, sun, ice-creams… 😉 LOL, so much for the snowy Christmas 🙂
I’m planning on a couple of changes and surprises next year. Not only I’ll finally get my Kaszazz business rolling, so I’ll be advertising my workshops here, but I’m also thinking about my own weekly challenges. YES! It was my dream since I began participating in various challenges around. There would be prizes too, so stay tuned!!

Well, so much for the rambling, what I really wanted to say today is…

MERRY CHRISTMAS GIRLS!!!!

Love you all! *muah*

In black & white

There’s a gorgeous colour inspiration for this week’s Tuesday Trigger - Black & White with the possibility of Green. Linda Beeson’s sample card is also sooo very beautiful, that I immediately felt inspired lol.
I made a set of two elegant cards, hope you’ll like them as much as I do!

On both cards I used a printable digital sentiment, but the images were stamped.
First card features a gorgeous image that I stamped en masse from a fellow cardmaker during some swapping madness long ago. I meant to ask what company’s stamp it is afterwards, for I wanted to eventually purchase it, but I forgot, and neither can I contact that person any more… anyone recognizes the image, girls? I’d greatly appreciate any input! 🙂

On the second card I used the flourish from Inkadinkado. This one also enters Thank You challenge at Papertake Weekly:

See you again in a couple of hours, thanks for looking!

For the boys (little and big)

Woo hoo I created two masculine cards in one sitting - something that hasn’t happened to me before 🙂 Basically, having any masculine card made requires stepping out of my comfort zone, and I’m sure many of you know exactly what I mean…
But not tonight - somehow they just happened, naturally. And I’m glad, they’ll come handy 🙂
First one is a baby boy card, and it has a boy-ish colour combo:

I used Mercy’s sketch MTSC53.

Next is a birthday card:

The sketch is Mojo Monday Week 118, and I’m entering it also into “New Beginings” at Daring Cardmakers.
It’s (guilty to say) 5.30 a.m. and I really should have been sleeping long ago, so excuse me for not elaborating on the cards more.
Thanks for looking, I’ll see you tomorrow!

Crushed red sand!

Hello folks!
I’m having another late night stamping session, but I’m happy I can find time for this at all! My little Zuzia has been having bad days lately (she’s turning 3 months in two days!), and on top of this I’m in the madness of preparing meals for the traditional Polish Christmas Eve for my extended Australian family!
I haven’t shared with you any photos of my little girl since immediately after birth, so here it is:

Isn’t she darling? =D

On to the new cards.
I’ve got two submissions for CC250: Crushed Red Sand, since I really liked the colours together and couldn’t stop at one! First card uses the sketch from CAS46:

The damask stamps are from Inkadinkado, and quickly becoming my favourites. I love everything from this company! The “you” phrase was stamped, but the “I {heart}” part is my handwriting. Therefore, excuse the rough look…

The second card’s sketch comes from TPE challenge #46:

The butterfly is from Kaisercraft, and it was stamped using the chalking technique. I stamped it with Perfect Medium embossing ink, and sponged with chalks from Pebbles Inc. basic brights collection. The sentiment is - again - hand written.

I’d also like to share with you my third Guest Designer submission for December at Tuesday Morning Sketches:

Photobucket

The digi stamp is from Soft Pencil, and it’s ADORABLE! I watercoloured it, and added some Ice Stickles to the “snowy” parts.
I’m also submitting the project to TSG34 - Baby It’s Cold Outside!, which is to create a non-holiday winter card.

That’s all for now, but I intend to do some more before I call it a day 🙂
Thank you for visiting!

In pastels

Hello! Just a quick post this time, for I must do some things before evening, that I’ve (hopefully) got reserved for some more cardmaking.

Here’s a new card for you:

Photobucket

I used the sketch from this week’s SFYTT, and the colours are a combo from CC:246 Pretty Olive Bay! Since there is quite an elaborate layering on this card, I’m also entering it into TSG33 - Time to layer up!

I’ve got one more card for you - I needed a quick last minute Christmas card:

Photobucket

I was browsing the previous SCS colour challenges, in need for some inspiration, and I found CC238: Pretty In Gray Shadows. I really like sage and powder pink together! I’m also giving this one a go for Let It Snow! at OCC.

Thank you so much for visiting!

Sunday night crops

I should really stop staying awake for so long every night, but it’s really hard for me to go to sleep knowing that I didn’t make a single card, and lately nights are my only free time. I feel seriously addicted lol!

I’ve got four new cards for you, which I hope you’ll enjoy looking at!

The first one’s for Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #49:

Photobucket

I combined stamping (the frame), rub-on and cardboard stickers for the main panel.

Next is the card for Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #95 (TESC95):

Photobucket

The flourish stamp comes from Sullivans, and I stamped it in Color Box Peach Pastel and Black on the card, and in Ice Blue on the frame cut from cream cardstock. Then I layered the frame so that the images overlap.

I also finished a fourth and final card for the month of December on the Verve forum at SCS - it goes to Viva la Verve! December Week 4:

Photobucket

The stamps are from Papertrey Ink (In Bloom), which I stamped in black, cut out the flower and leaf shapes and coloured them with pencils.

Lastly, I’ve got a submission for this week’s Featured Stamper challenge- FS150: She’s BENZI-riffic!. The lucky girl is Benzi, and I chose to CASE her lovely StampinB, Chalked Flower card:

Photobucket

I decided on lace instead of punched border, and used the same kind of ribbon for both sides of the panel. Since the card features the chalked image, I did the same. The embossing was done using Fiskars embossing folder and a stylus. The stamp is from Kaisercraft.

Thank you so much for stopping by tonight, see you tomorrow!
