I certainly am lately, not only creating more than ever, in hope that it will somehow compensate the six weeks in Europe (coming very soon now!), but I should also start stockpiling cards for the Design Teams that I’m in… I’ve got to have 30 extra cards prepared by the end of May, plus there are some more fun news coming… very soon. Wahoo!! Go to love the buzz! 😀
Anyhoo, two new cards this time.
First one, for Embellish Embossing Color Challenge, and Paper Crafts April Sketch Gallery.
I embossed the green panel with PTI’s polka dot basics, and the lemons.
I’m mad at myself that I didn’t mat the cut-out lemons with cardstock - after embossing and applying a generous amount of glitter, they rolled up a bit. Argh!
Supplies: cardstock: Quill, DCWV; paper: page from a notebook; stamps: Papertrey Ink (Polka Dot Basics), Flourishes; ink: Versa Color (Olive), ColorBox (Prussian Blue); clear embossing powder: Hero Arts; sewing machine; glitter: Reeves; border punch: Fiskars
Also - it’s Thursday, and it means that it’s time for another OCC sketch (OCCSC13)! I really like this one, and I hope you’ll play along with us!
I’m being very nasty, making it my third entry for FTTC64 - Vintage.
Supplies: cardstock: Quill, DCWV; paper: Bo Bunny; stamps: Flourishes; ink: Tim Holtz (Ranger Distress Ink - Pumice Stone), Versa Color (Bark); watercolour pencils: Belgrave; blender pen; glitter: Reeves; border punch: EK Success; ribbon: Lincraft; letter stickers: Carolee’s Creations; other: button, string
I think the latter might be one of my best cards. IMHO of course 😉 I think I might just hoard this one, lol.
Thank you so much for stopping by, have a great evening! {hugs}
