Masculine Monday

Written by: iwona    13 Comments

Well, sort of… my new cards are not entirely masculine, but they’re certainly not girly. When I was making them, I didn’t know that I’m in a mood for such style - they just… happened :)
Here’s what I’m talking about…

I whipped up the first one for SFYTT 36 & PDCC26. Sometimes I like to take the time to make a heavy-layered card. I also like how heavy they are - *physically*. Except my wallet, when it comes to sending them. lol

Supplies: cardstock: Quill; paper: Bo Bunny, October Afternoon; stamps: Inkadinkado, Prima; ink: Versa Color (Bark, Sand Beige, Celadon); sewing machine; chipboard: Lil’ Davis Designs; jute ribbon: Sullivans; other: string, button

Another card, made for SSSC66, F4A9 - Take a Virtual Vacation, and IC229 ~ Green Rainbow. You can find the source of the chosen inspiration from the Green Rainbow store here.

And lastly, a CAS project for FTL87 & CAS64 - Happy birthday, Boo! The latter one is about making a birthday card, and use the colour orange.

  1. Love the twine around the first card and all the layers. Great second card - perfect for any guy 😀 Must try that CAS layout too - so many things you can do with it. Glad you figured out little Chuplet is just a growing girl 😀 Get ready for some wiiiiiide open mouth situations when she is eating something she loves - definitely a photo op 😀

  2. Lovely cards Chupa, but especially the one for our challenge over at the PDCC! It’s GORGEOUS!! I love everything about it!!! Yummy! Thanks for playing along with us this week!

  3. Fantastic cards-all three. I LOVE, love the second one. The combinaton of patterns is great and the circle with the continuous image behind it is genius! Thanks for the inspiration-I can’t wait to try that look!

  4. Always look forward to seeing what you have on offer for The Play Date Cafe Challenge and this is no exception! Fabulous interpretation of this week’s color story : )
