A shabby CAS

Good evening, peoples! I wish I had more to show you tonight, but my time gets ever more precious… I’ll most definitely try to squeeze in some more craft time tonight, but I can’t promise that I’ll come back to post it.
For now, I’ve got this card for you:

ColourQ anniversary

Hello folks, it looks like another quick post from me… I did only a fraction of what I had planned for today, and although it’s late & I’m more than ready for bed, I’ll try to squeeze in a quick job or two, for tomorrow is not going to be easier I’m sure!
I wanted to share with you one card, though. As soon as I saw that ColourQ is celebrating its 1st anniversary {Congrats, Arielle!!!} with a fab sketch and a freedom of choosing one of the previous challenges, I couldn’t resist to play 🙂

I chose an irresistible combo that I wanted to play with for a long, long time (cQc#36). Still, in a very Chupish manner, I made both the colours and the sketch mine by tweaking, adjusting and stretching, so that it turned into this:

Photobucket

Supplies: paper: Cosmo Cricket, My Mind’s Eye; stamp: The Greeting Farm; ink: StazOn (Timber Brown); watercolour pencils: Belgrave; blender pen; decorative chalks: Pebbles; ribbon: Sullivans; buttons; brads; string: Papertrey Ink; scallop scissors; sewing machine; lace trim

Here’s the sketch, and the colour challenge that I chose:

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs!

Simply…

Good evening, stamping friends! I’ve been working on future projects today and haven’t had time to play with some of the recent challenges, until the evening. I didn’t feel like elaborate stamping any more, so the two cards that I’ll show you are pretty simple… I hope you’ll like them still 🙂
Here’s the first one:

Photobucket

Supplies: cardstock: Canson, Papertrey Ink (Rustic Cream); stamps: Grant, Penny Black; ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Pumice Stone), Versa Color (Pinecone); lace trim; Spica Glitter Pen; twill ribbon available here; brad available here

The sketch comes from Pals Paper Arts (PPA61 - reversed):

Photobucket

The card is also made for FTTC86, which is to make a card with a fall/harvest theme using green, brown, orange/russet, and cream.

Another one:

Photobucket

Supplies: cardstock: American Crafts, Papertrey Ink (Aqua Mist), Grant; stamp: Papertrey Ink (Polka Dots Background); ink: VersaMark; clear embossing powder: Hero Arts; sentiment sticker: SRM Stickers; grosgrain ribbon: Sullivans; velvet ribbon: Lil’ Davis Designs; button; string: Papertrey Ink

This one was inspired by this beautiful bracelet, the theme of TSTR29:

The sketch is GS#57:

Hello again, friends, and welcome to my second post for today!
This time I’ve got a project, that I prepared for Really Reasonable Ribbon. It features some absolutely gorgeous ribbon, that can be found in the RRR store: Jade Grosgrain and Light blue Silk.

Photobucket

Supplies: cardstock: Canson; paper: Kaisercraft; stamps: Prima, Papertrey Ink; ink: Versa Color (Pinecone, Umber), Color Box (Ice Blue, Prussian Blue, Brown); watercolour pencils: Belgrave, blender pen; glitter: Reeves; pearls: Kaisercraft; ribbon available here

The sketch is SSSC26:

Karen gave us the freedom of choosing one of her past sketches to play with this week, and this one is what I chose. There would be many more that I’d easily call my favourites, but this sketch suited my idea for the moment 🙂

The colours come from Our Creative Corner - I took some freedom with the interpretation 🙂

The card also goes to C4C56 - Bling.
Thank you for visiting, and I hope you’ll have a fabbo day!!!
