Layers Of Color GD - Wonderful!

Sadly, it’s my last week of being a Guest Designer Layers Of Color Art Stamps… I enjoyed it thoroughly, I really love the assortment of stamps that LOC offers! The quality is outstanding, the images are wonderfully vintage (just as I like them!), and above all, Laura & the Team are the sweetest ladies. Thank you so much for having me!

I am Guest Designer for Layers of Color - An online boutique where stampers can find unique stamp products and be inspired by fresh out-of-the-box ideas.

On my last card, I used the butterfly & sentiment from my favourite clear stamp set - Flutterescent.

Supplies: cardstock: PTI (Rustic Cream), American Crafts (brown, pink); paper: Prima; stamps: Layers Of Color (Flutterescent); ink: Memento (Rich Cocoa), Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap), PTI (Fresh Snow); border punch: EK Success; sewing machine; Nestabilities Scalloped Circles; decorative sticker: Pink Paislee; edge distresser; burlap; buttons; pom-pom trim

I encourage you to check out the lovely stamps and stencils in the LOC Boutique here, and if you crave more inspiration with their stamps, you can find it on the LOC blog here.
Thank you for visiting!

Make It Monday: line frame

A little card for you, crafty friends… I’m sneaking in quickly, before the next TSG Blog Hop Challenge. Are you hopping with us??
I really like this week’s PTI Make It Monday challenge, which is about drawing line frames around card fronts. I’ve been doing this many times in the past, and this must be one of my favourite ways to “dress up” an image. Here’s what I did this time!

Photobucket

TSG104 - sketch challenge

This week’s sketch challenge is brought to us by our fearless leader, Jessica! I just love this type of sketches - simple, classy, and good for big fat bows that, as you well know, I can’t live without. HA!

On my sample, I used the Good Times stamp set by Torico. These little bunnehs are seriously one of the most adorable stamps that I’ve seen.

Supplies: cardstock: SU! (Baja Breeze), American Crafts (black, pink), white; Paper: My Mind’s Eye (Stella & Rose); stamps: There She Goes (Good Times); ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black); Copics; sewing machine; buttons; grosgrain ribbon; border punch: Martha Stewart; paper piercer; Nestabilities Circles, Scalloped Circles; string: AnnaBelle Stamps

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that uses the sketch provided and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (May 2nd). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG104 so we can check out your beautiful work!

I’m having an extremely busy day today (so much for Easter break, haha!), so I better just leave you to it! None the less, you bet I will be back soon - TSG April Blog Hop Challenges starts tomorrow - WOOHOO!!
Take care, friends… {hugs}
