Lime Tart Guest Designer - Week 3

Good evening peeps, I would like to share with you another Lime Tart Guestie post!

I’m back with some more Whiff Of Joy, and the gorgeous critter below is called Puff Heart Dragon.

I think I’m getting hooked on these sweet WOJ images, they’re super fun to colour! There’s a big selection of gorgeous stamps in the store, you can check them out here.

Verve sketch: one of my nicest thoughts

Good morning! I hope your week is fantastic so far. I’m not feeling too well, just a cold but none the less very annoying.

Zuzia is having a “day off” today, she’s having a music group in a little while and then she’s off to the grandparents. She’s getting cold from me too, but I’m hoping that a couple of hours break from her coughing mommy will do her good. I’m also looking forward to having some rest! 🙂

Before that happens, I would like to hare the card that I whipped up last night. It’s made with the VLVAug2011 Week 5 sketch. Love me some Verve sketches 🙂

Supplies: cardstock: recycled kraft, Grant (grey), Canson (blue); paper: Authentique; stamps: Hero Arts; ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black); Liquid Pearls (Pewter, Platinum); ribbon: Kaisercraft; little white tag/pearl brad: SEI; baker’s twine; roses: Hooked on Craft; Nestabilities Circles/Scalloped Circles

Here’s the sketch:

See you later! xxx

CAS-ify me: wishing you

Good morning, inklings! I’m starting early today - I had an opportunity to make this super quick card, another CAS - to my great enjoyment 🙂 As much as I love piling up stuff, it’s the simple designs that turn out fine, that are making me feel extra good. It’s good to stretch oneself!

I made it for this week’s Featured Stamper challenge on SCS (FS238). We are CASEing Lydia, and I honstly couldn’t believe she wasn’t featured yet… I had to play!

I chose this beautiful card. I decided to reverse the effect for the stamping at the top of the card, and white embossed the flowers, while highlighting them with a brown Copic marker.

Supplies: cardstock: recycled kraft, PTI (Simply Chartreuse); paper: Scenic Route; stamps: Hero Arts (Thanks Flowers, Truly Appreciated); ink: VersaMark, Memento (Rich Cocoa); E55 Copic; white embossing powder; border punch: Martha Stewart

I’m also entering the card into PPA108 - Soften The Edges.

Thanks for visiting & see you soon! xxx

Deer friend

I’m back as I promised!

This time with some good ole’ layers and Copics… don’t you just love that dear?? 🙂

Photobucket

Supplies: cardstock: American Crafts, DCWV, white; paper: Cosmo Cricket (Nutmeg); stamps: The Greeting Farm (Forest Friends); ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black, Rich Cocoa); Copics; Nestabilities Circles/Scalloped Circles; brown pen; baker’s twine; flower: Maya Road; border punch: Fiskars

I made it with this week’s Deconstructing Sketch (DS16). It’s a wonderful layout, I couldn’t wait to play with it 🙂

I’m also playing with JAI82, which is to use something that we haven’t used for a long time. This Cosmo Cricket paper pad was the first one I ever bought. I still have it in a big part, but rarely ever use it any more. Same for that TGF set, I honestly don’t remember when I last inked it up. Might have been before Copics 🙂

That’s all for tonight, but I sure will make an appearance tomorrow. I wouldn’t leave you neglected for too long 😉 Smooches,

CAS-ify me: playing with new goodies

Greetings, tweets! Are you lazing on the Sunday afternoon (or morning)? It’s been a glorious weekend here and we spent some lovely time outside. I wish weekends laster longer!!

I’m happy to have the crafty time started tonight, I couldn’t wait to ink up some new stamps. I have neglected the CAS side of me this week, so I decided to whip up a couple of quickies, before I jump in to the usual layering and embellishing to my heart’s content.

I made the first card for the Square Sketch Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. It’s the only sketch out of four served by Cath, that I feel fairly comfortable with. If I’m feeling super brave, I might tackle one or two more. We’ll see 🙂

The flower was coloured with Copics, and I used the Colorless Blender to create the texture. I just dabbed it randomly all over the coloured area.

Supplies: cardstock: Canson (greys), white; stamps: Hero Arts (Friends Are Treasures, Stencil Flower); ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black); Sprinkle: AnnaBelle Stamps: black pen; white gel pen: Signo

The sketch is shown below. I also used the colours of OCC’s current challenge - Neutrals with a Pop.

And another one, this time made with FTL155 and the colours of Jay Gee’s Nook challenge #11.

I used the gorgeous new release TSG stamp set - Fabulous.

Photobucket

Supplies: cardstock: PTI (Summer Sunrise), recycled kraft, white; stamps: There She Goes (Fabulous); ink: Memento (Rich Cocoa, Cantaloupe); sewing machine; Scor-Buddy; buttons: AnnaBelle Stamps; chipboard heart: Collections; baker’s twine

I might stop by once again tonight, but don’t hold my word for that 🙂 For my American friends living on East Coast - I hope you’re staying safe!

Hugs,

Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #26

Hello, inky friends! It’s been a fun Saturday here, I hope yours turns out well too.

I’m bringing you another vertical sketch, as you know that’s how I love them 🙂 If you want more horizontal sketches, let me know and I’ll make sure that some will come your way.

I really like this layout. It came to me in a flash this afternoon and I knew I’m going to make it into the Sketchbook. I think this bay “window” makes things more interesting, but feel free to substitute it for any shape you want!

I’ve been to Paperific (craft expo) in Melbourne today and I picked some Hero Arts stamps that were on my list for as long as I remember 🙂 I LOVE their big bold sentiments, and I’m ecstatic that I can finally ink up that butterfly!

Photobucket

Supplies: cardstock: cream, PTI (Melon Berry); paper: My Mind’s Eye (Be Loved); stamps: Hero Arts (Antique Engravings, Friends Are Treasures); ink: Versa Magic (Oasis Green), Versa Color (Celadon), Memento (Tuxedo Black), Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap); Copics; border punch: Fiskars; sewing machine

I used these lovely colours from PDCC96. I was especially excited when I first saw this week’s challenge, as this is my favourite combo at the moment 🙂

A few things to keep in mind if you decide to use my sketch:

- You’re kindly asked to save the image onto your computer first, and if you make a card based on it, please link back to this post.

- If you upload your card to an online gallery, please use the code SSC26.

- Please share the link to your creation via the Inlinkz widget, so that I can come and check it out. I would love to see what you did with it!

- The colours/elements mean nothing towards the card. All styles, colours and supplies, as well as slight alterations of the sketch are welcome.

- A new sketch and sample is posted every Saturday, but you’re welcome to play any time! Just leave a link in the comments section after Inlinkz widget closes.

Have fun 🙂
