The Craft’s Meow November Release - Day 1

Oh, my golly! The excitement of the TSG release hasn’t even started to fade yet, and I’m chiming in with another, SUPER FUN and utterly gorgeous, release from The Craft’s Meow!!
It’s my first release that I’m participating in as a full Design Team member, and I’m happy beyond measure. Just wait and see all seven (yes, SEVEN!!) sets, that are leased next month!

The first two sets thrown in the basket today, are Happy Hoolidays and The Merry Best.

The first set, designed by Jenny Suchin, is just the cutest!! I mean… look at this adorable owlie, tangled in the Christmas lights! It reminds me of the comedy that they used to show in Christmas time, with the man setting up an elaborate light work on the house, and then seeing it all going wrong. Fun times :)

I’m super sad that my Guest Designer gig is over, it went by all too quickly. However, the good memories is what I will have forever. Hmmm… maybe I should scrap it too?? haha
See you in T minus 1 hour (roughly), for the first day of the TCM release! You don’t want to miss it, honestly…

I had my regular ‘inky time’ last night, but decided to wait a couple of hours, to let you guys ‘digest’ my two previous posts first :) I wanted to catch up on some challenges. I don’t have as much time as I’d like any more, for the non-assignment stamping, but I sure love when it happens. Here’s what I whipped up!

Have you made it here from Holly’s blog? Excellent!! Otherwise, please refer to the TSG Blog for the complete Blog Hop list and details. You can also find the complete list of participants’ blogs, on the bottom of this post.

TSG is giving away one stamp set for each set previewed during the Blog Hop Challenges! One random commenter from a pre-determined Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post will be selected to win. You’ll have till Saturday’s Release Party to comment on as many Trendsetter Blog Hop Challenge posts as possible. The more Trendsetter posts you comment on during each Blog Hop Challenge, the greater your chances of winning! Be sure to check the TSG Blog Saturday evening after 9:00pm EST to see if you’re a winner!

Kids love to countdown the days until Christmas is finally here and with this new set illustrated by Torico, you are going to have just as much fun creating a countdown advent calendar! With 25 different adorable holiday images and two sets of numbers the possibilities are endless! To make this set even more useable, there are two decorative circles and two decorative squares that were designed to be used with a 1 3/8” punch!!

No Peeking is a 6×8 set that includes a total of 53 stamps and will sell for $24.

I created this card, with three of the adorable images from the set. The sentiment if from the older set, Snowy Days (also by Torico!)
The snowman looked like it has a jacket on, with the heart buttons on it… I think it looks super cozy in it, and with his earmuffs on 😀

Photobucket

Supplies: cardstock: white; paper/brads: My Mind’s Eye (12 Days of Christmas); stamps: There She Goes (No Peeking, Snowy Days); ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black); Copics; Nestabilities Circles; corner rounder: EK Success; twill ribbon

Would you like to win the new No Peeking stamp set? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. One of the Trendsetter’s blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post.
You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning new stamps! The Blog Hop Challenges will be open until 5 PM Eastern Time Saturday October 29th with the winner being announced during the release party chat.

I hope you enjoyed this month’s release! Happy shopping! 😉

CASE Study Challenge #63

We are launching our last challenge with Niki Estes, at CASE Study. I had so much fun this month, and would easily do a couple more! It’s so cool to “legally” CASE some of the most inspiring ladies out there! Here’s the card for this week…

Again, I picked one of my favourites from Niki. It’s one of the most gorgeous examples of stamping that I’ve seen. I love custom stamped papers, and if paired with flawless sponging and fun embossing, my heart is set a flutter…
I knew that I wanted to pull out the same stamp set, for my inspired card. I changed the layout and colours, but I stayed true to the idea. I only forgot about sponging - I realized that I skipped that part, after I sew the layer to the mat. Ugh.

Photobucket

Supplies: cardstock: SU! (retired colour), American Crafts (grey), embossed white (stash); paper: Pink Paislee (365 Degrees); stamps: PTI (Year Of Flowers: Roses); ink: Versafine (Onyx Black), PTI (Fresh Snow); Y04 Copic; Nestabilities Labels 10; sewing machine; ribbon: PTI; MFT Die-Namics File Tab

I paired Card Patterns sketch 138, with the colours of CR84FN41:

Please visit my sweet and talented DT at their blogs, and check out what they whipped up with this week’s inspiration!

Niki Estes (October Muse)
Amy Wanford
Andrea Ewen
Clare Buswell

If you’d like to play along with us, hop over to the CASE Study blog, where you’ll find all the details, fabulous inspiration and InLinkz tool to link up your creation!
