WOW guys… I can’t even begin to tell you, how exciting it was to see so many takes on my sketch again. You truly set my heart a flutter! Even though I do it because I love drawing sketches and sharing them, and I expect nothing in return, I feel very special to see that you enjoy these. LOVE it.

Today I challenged myself to ‘go horizontal’. If you’re a frequent visitor, you know how much I love vertical cards; I could do hundreds more and be happy to make them all stand tall 
I’m not sure how this craze started, but I do admit to having a bit of a horizontal-card-phobia… so here goes fighting the damn thing! lol
As you can see on my sample below, the sentiment treatment is totally up to you. I dressed it up on the sketch, to give you a hint of how else you can do it, but surely if you want to simplify it and use just a single sentiment block, go ahead.
It’s one of these universal sketches that work well with a multitude of stamps and themes. Don’t forget that the florals are also not required!

It’s a thoroughly Hero Arts card… I used my favourite Dogwood stamp, along with the Dots and Flowers background and the sentiment from Year Round Sentiments.
The pattern was stamped in Old Paper Distress Ink, and the dogwoods once in Memento Bamboo Leaves directly on the layer, and once on a white card. Then I coloured the blooms with Copics, cut them out, curved the edges and mounted over the layer.

Fab sketch, and a beautiful card! I love that you stamped the leaves directly on the bg paper, then popped up the flowers.
Your Copic skills are way beyond amazing. The dogwood petals are beautiful and I love the stamping technique you used. Awesome card Chupa!
