Colour storm

Woohoo, this is my second post for tonight! I managed to whip up eight cards today, can you believe? :) This was a delightful day indeed, but it’s late again, and I’m having trouble keeping my eyes open… Thus a quick post this time.

I made a card for CPS 150, and the colours from OCC’s current colour challenge were perfect for the theme. (I seem to have a lot of doubled, even tripled and more entries for some challenges lately… this card is my third one for OCC this week!)
I’m over with the winter theme for the time being, but today I finally got the stamps from DRS Designs, that I won at 2S4Y last year, and I wanted to ink up these lovely conifers:

Supplies: cardstock: Lincraft, DCWV; papers: digital printables; pearls: Kaisercraft; stamp: DRS Designs; Perfect Medium (embossing ink); decorative chalks, needle; ribbon: Sullivans, Fiskars border punch

Here’s the CPS sketch that I’m using:

Next I’ve got the card for Get Sketchy (sketch - GS21) , and the colour combo from TSG38 - Red, Pink & Aqua:

Supplies: cardstock: Lincraft, DCWV, Grant; papers: DCWV; ribbon: craft supply; white pen; Fiskars border punch, Cuttlebug machine with Swiss Dots embossing folder, rub-on: Porta Craft

That’s it for tonight, I can hear my bed calling me now, but I’ll be back tomorrow! :)
Have a great evening &

New stuff!

Hello, early post today! It’s been an uneventful morning/afternoon so far, and I had time enough to sit down and whip up something. Mind you, the new cards were not especially complicated to make :)
Without further ado…

The card below follows the Pals Paper Arts sketch, that I finally had a chance to work on:

The middle panel is stamped with shell images.

Supplies: Cardstock: Lincraft, Papers: digital printables, Stamps: Sullivans, Ink: Versa Color Celadon, the rest: craft supply

Next are my two projects for CAS49 - Cut it out!

I got totally inspired with the drop-dead gorgeous butterfly card by Jessica Witty (scroll down the post & you’ll see it), so I decided that I must CASE it, the very moment I saw it. I changed the shape of the card, but the main difference is that my stamped butterflies are nowhere near being that sharp & neatly looking… *sigh* Let’s say, some of my stamps are not the highest standard lol.
The project also goes to Birthday challenge over at TPE.

Supplies: Stamps: Butterflies - Kaisercraft, Sullivans; Sentiment - Kaszazz; Patterned paper (butterfly cutout): Grant Archival, Ink: Color Box Ice Blue

The flower card below also enters LSC254 - “Love You Much”:

Photobucket

Supplies: Stamps: Sullivans, Ink: Versa Color Black, Perfect Medium, Decorating Chalk: Pebbles Inc, Pearls: Rasberry

The cut out bloms were stamped with clear embossing ink, and coloured with chalks. I used two in-tone colours to create a nice gradient.

Crushed red sand!

Hello folks!
I’m having another late night stamping session, but I’m happy I can find time for this at all! My little Zuzia has been having bad days lately (she’s turning 3 months in two days!), and on top of this I’m in the madness of preparing meals for the traditional Polish Christmas Eve for my extended Australian family!
I haven’t shared with you any photos of my little girl since immediately after birth, so here it is:

Isn’t she darling? =D

On to the new cards.
I’ve got two submissions for CC250: Crushed Red Sand, since I really liked the colours together and couldn’t stop at one! First card uses the sketch from CAS46:

The damask stamps are from Inkadinkado, and quickly becoming my favourites. I love everything from this company! The “you” phrase was stamped, but the “I {heart}” part is my handwriting. Therefore, excuse the rough look…

The second card’s sketch comes from TPE challenge #46:

The butterfly is from Kaisercraft, and it was stamped using the chalking technique. I stamped it with Perfect Medium embossing ink, and sponged with chalks from Pebbles Inc. basic brights collection. The sentiment is - again - hand written.

I’d also like to share with you my third Guest Designer submission for December at Tuesday Morning Sketches:

The digi stamp is from Soft Pencil, and it’s ADORABLE! I watercoloured it, and added some Ice Stickles to the “snowy” parts.
I’m also submitting the project to TSG34 - Baby It’s Cold Outside!, which is to create a non-holiday winter card.

That’s all for now, but I intend to do some more before I call it a day :)
Thank you for visiting!

Luv me some chalk!

Grrr! My mojo was very low most of the day today… I’ve been struggling to create something that makes sense, and - what is quite unusual to me - I was starting projects that never were finished. Suddenly, late in the evening mojo decided to come back to me, but I’d so like to have back the time I lost fiddling around… 😉

I’m quite happy with my two evening creations though - they were super fun to make, perhaps because I was using one of my favourite techniques - Chalkboard Technique. It’s the theme of the JUGS11 challenge, and I used it on both cards.

Here’s the first one - the sketch that it follows comes from Peachy Keen Stamps (Challenge 18):

I also used the colours from CC249 - So Saffron, Mellow Moss, Melon Mambo, and Neutrals of Choice.
I used a printed out digi DP, and the stamps are Inkadinkado (damask) and Sullivans (sentiment). The damask was stamped with white Versa Mark ink, and sponged with a dark yellow chalk from the Pebbles Inc. Basic Brights palette.
The finishing touches are the ribbon and Kaisercraft rhinestones.

Next card follows the WSC110 sketch:

I decided to apply several different colours of chalk this time, to make the flowers resemble those of Mallow, one of my most loved plants :)
The sentiment was stamped normally, for I didn’t want such small letters look fuzzy.
Both stamps are from Sullivans.

Thank you for visiting tonight, I’ll see you again soon!
