Video games are generally defined as a series of activities for entertainment, competition or even simulation where the goal is to reach a specific goal, for excitement or even fun. – Simulation Based Systems: A simulation-based system is designed to provide the player with a realistic experience. These types of systems often use sophisticated artificial intelligence and allow players to shape and control aspects of the game environment and its characters. This type of game is very popular in modern first person shooters. These games require the player to think strategically and learn to act in situations where they might typically just “roll the dice” and hope for the best.
