I’ve got a pleasure to join the folks over at the Runway Inspired Challenge today! The inspiration is gorjuss and it comes from the Burberry Prorsum’s 2014 Resort collection:
I love the mix of subtle patterns and colours, perfectly feminine and so right up my alley. I had a blast with this one! I stamped a doily pattern from The Craft’s Meow Simply Delightful set, on the PTI Sweet Blush card base, to channel the lovely blouse. For the skirt, I used a scrap piece of textured cardstock (AnnaBelle Stamps, retired) that I’ve had hanging around forever. Instead of a peach accent, I used saturated browns of the flowers (Kaisercraft Collectables).
The calico behind the panel was a last minute decision, love me some texture!
I hope you’ll join us, there’s a $25 gift card to Ellen Hutson up for grabs, along with all the praise that comes with winning 🙂
It is Gorgeous! I love how you were inspired by the photo and translated it so well into your card!
