Just a note

**This is my second post for today, please see my CASE Study card below as well!!**

It’s going to be a really speedy appearance - I wanted to play so badly with the current Lift Project on Mamajudo’s blog, and seeing that it comes to an end shortly, I had a quick but joyful play session with my supplies tonight. Love how this card turned out, I’ve been feeling scrappy lately…

First up, here’s the original piece by Nimucha, a jaw-dropping card that inspired me so much. Initially I had an urge to pull out my grunge stamps and stamp away on my layers, but I ended up taking out the Far Away paper pad by Teresa Collins and I couldn’t resist cutting into it. Especially since I decided to pair up the challenge with PDCC176, which offers a scrumptious colour combo that fitted perfectly.

Of course I would’ve attempted to modify the already busy paper, with an aid of spray mist & glaze, seems to be my thing these days - I think I did that for the fourth time this week. I did some altering to the Studio Calico wood veneer as well (applied a Kaisercraft rub-on to the triangle). The rest is a mix of scraps, odds and ends that I specified in the supply list at the end of the post.

Here’s the Play Date Cafe colour story… isn’t it lovely??

See you later, crafty peeps! Thanks for all your lovely comments <3

  1. I still don’t know how you manage to pull together so many layers, colours and elements and make it all look so effortless but God I’m glad that you do!
