First of all, thank you for stopping by! If it wasn’t for you beautiful people, this blog wouldn’t have been going strong since 2009, so big thanks for fueling my passion and giving me the reasons to share its fruit with you 🙂
My name is Iwona Palamountain but I’m also known by my nickname Chupa. I’m a mum to two beautiful girls, Zuzia (Zuzanna) who’s a preschooler and a toddler, Julka (Julia)! I’ve got a truly amazing husband who has all the understanding and support I need, to help my creativity grow. I call Australia home, but I come from Poland where I’ve lived for a big chunk of my life. Both places have a special place in my heart. These days I’m playing a crazy role of a stay-at-home mum, but one of these days I’m planning to come back to my profession which is Landscape Design.
Apart from crafting and designing gardens, my hobbies include decorating the house, (amateur) photography, cooking & baking, and feeding my geeky side with good books and films. Most of all, spending quality time with my hubby and watching our daughter grow and learn things.
I love bugs, reptiles, cats (well, pretty much all critters), folk art, coffee, the colour teal/mint/aqua, rain, the smell of old books, garlic and black StazOn. I’m very much into unexplained / paranormal as well, and never miss a good horror movie either.
Most of the content on the blog is cards, ’cause making these little pretties is what rocks my world big time. Occasionally I dabble in scrapbooking and altered art, make stationery and gift wrap. I’m pretty sure that there’s still plenty for me to learn and explore and it feels me with great joy 🙂
Did you know that I offer challenges? Sketchbook Saturday has been going strong for years! I am an owner / founder of the CASE Study Challenge blog as well, and if you’ve been living under the rock & haven’t paid us a visit, go go GO and check it out!!
Don’t hesitate to contact me if you’ve got any questions/queries or just want to chat!
