Oh, hi weekend! I hope you’ll treat me well…. been a bit grumpy and tired lately, no wonder: 37-th week of pregnancy is not the brightest highlight of my life, I’m afraid! I feel SO heavy… The good thing is that crafting is giving me a much needed distraction that I’m happily succumbing to. I’d like to share the two cards today, that I made at various times yesterday, you know… in between… other stuff. lol
First up, I played with my new Mama Elephant So Breezy stamp set. Such a joy. I had this idea of attaching clouds to the rope, instead of the kite. I couldn’t resist adding a few splatters of spray ink to the card, I love the effect. It doesn’t remind me of rain, rather of wee bits of the blue cloud fluff dancing around in the air as the boy shakes them off running. does anyone else see it? 😛

Aaand another one! I wanted to pull out the new Waltzingmouse stamp sets from the last release, while the new one is just around the corner!! You’ll love the new stuff, btw… can’t wait to share!! In the meantime, this semi-(belated)-Easter card (well, not really Easter as such but it does have a holiday feel to it…) gave me a lot of fun creating

These are both lovely cards and the top one would be so good for a man too! Good luck with the birth - the last couple of weeks are the hardest, but you’ll soon forget once the little one is here.

Love both of these but that first one just takes the cake! Such a great idea to be pulling along a cloud, and yes I totally see the blue splatters are little bits of cloud fluff! 😀 But you’re not giving me a shadow of a hope at the Mama Elephant Challenge now! Bad Chupa!!
