It’s Thursday! It’s CASE Study time! One of my favourite reasons to hang out with you guys I just realized, that in the three years’ time since CS was brought to life, I don’t think I missed a single challenge. Comes to show how much I love them. Moreover, they still prove to be amongst the most interesting and popular challenges out there, which makes me truly happy!
We have a pleasure to indulge in Lisa Spangler‘s creative work this month, and here’s the card that’s given for our inspiration this time around.

I do love the understated design and how it brings out the focal point to life, but what truly captured my attention is the subtle, gorgeous background that Lisa created by sponging over a white embossed pattern. I was well and truly geared up for doing the same trick on my card, but sadly I run out of time and had to retreat to a quick and easy scrappy version, with a piece of patterned paper for my background and a cluster of embellishments to do the magic
