I’m savouring the nautical craze… who would’ve known?? Why yes, I’ve done some sailing in the past and enjoyed it (I even thought about getting a patent for myself), but before the trend hit full steam I never felt an urge to put a helm or a ship on my card. So there you have it, a happily converted lover of all things nautical!
Of course it does help that I LOVE some of the core elements of the trend… (stripes!!)

I’m playing with Monday Mood Board #18 and Tuesday Trigger: I’m Craving Navy today.

I didn’t get any of the WPlus9 new release (but I can’t wait to get those gorjuss feathers in my inky paws!!), so I improvised with some universal sets and added the helm cut with my Silhouette. I loved the shape so much that I designed one more card around it, but more on it later

The shapes were cut from the came off-white cardstock, it created a subtle and disobliging look. I added another shape from the same cut file set - an anchor - to the insert of the card as you can see above.
The other card, more ‘scrappy’ in design; I followed the MOJO306 sketch. Since I don’t do “rigid” layers any more these days, it’s been very long since I reached for one of their sketches. This one’s quite adorable, though

This card still fits the Trigger, but obviously not the Mood board. It does use some YUMMY Waltzingmouse new release stamps, though - which reminds me that they got a Moxie Fab Stamp Of Approval this week - so go & leave a comment in order to have a chance at grabbing some WMS loveliness!!
