Hello, how ’bout another quick post? I meant to share it last night but after I got back from the gym it suddenly got close to midnight and I was falling asleep at the desk! (yep, I’m always hitting it late, after I put the kiddos to bed and have a chance to unwind briefly with a cuppa). I had a very quick affair with 10 Minute Craft Dash earlier yesterday, the given colours are adorable and I wanted to give them a go. I also reached for the Fusion #17 fantastic layout, and combined these two together.
Traditionally, I started with a pre-assembled bunch of supplies: a few MAMBI flash cards and some paper scraps and bits & bobs, including a die cut circle, leftover from another project - I call it a shortcut, not cheating! lol
This card came together surprisingly quickly, taking into account the fact that it’s laden with stuff, i was surprised myself. It helped that I had a clear idea in my mind. The only things I added which weren’t in the original assemblage, was baker’s twine and two round Cosmo Cricket stickers which I placed on the opposite sides of the focal point. The rest was pretty straightforward; the pattern flash card turned out to be exactly the size I wanted so no cutting was needed, plus there’s no stamping here. It took me the longest to try and cut a reasonably looking “sun” around the sentiment. Isn’t that a cool look

Thank you so much, Barbara! I take photos with 50mm lens and in aperture priority mode, which helps achieve the blurred background that adds to the quality of my photos. Other than that, it’s just a few props and making sure the lighting is right! (which is, btw, something I’m still perfecting )
