How do you celebrate today? With an extra craft time? By giving someone a hand-made card? Or perhaps by connecting with your crafty friends and perusing the web in search of the pretties that people share?
I’ll be doing (or did already) all of the above!! Plus, I’ve got a card to share, check it out
It’s a mix of different manufacturers’ stamps, in a true Chupa style. The stunning damask background is from Inkadinkado, the sentiment from Paper Smooches, and the flowers are a Simon Says exclusive. I’ve also tried some of my new Memento Luxe inks, for the first time, and I’m so taken with the results! They’re the best inks I’ve tried so far, no kidding. You can get them here in the Simon Says Stamp store!
Here’s the comparison of old Memento and the new Luxe pad, both in Pistachio. Quite a difference, huh? Not only the coverage is much better (no more splotches!), but the colour is deeper and more even. I’m going to use these babies A LOT!
The card is based on the colours of cQc#209 and the FTL261 sketch:
EDITED TO ADD
I made another card tonight, so I thought I’d throw it in as well, since I’ve got another post in plans for tomorrow. It was a real quickie, I’ve been waiting for a friend to arrive and I had about 10 minutes to spare. Well, that’s exactly as much as I needed for 10 Minute Craft Dash #27
Because of the hurry, I didn’t get to photograph my supplies, like I usually do for the Craft Dash challenges, but I do have a time!
The Copics which I coloured the butterflies are YR02, YG61, YG63, YG67.
I also used the CTS#48 sketch.
Ok, I’m off to check the blogland now, happy WCMD everyone!!
