I’m joining in Papertrey Ink October Blog Hop today! It’s been a while since I gave my PTI stuff a workout, and I need some Christmas gift tags, so here goes!
I cut some tags with the Tag Sale #4 dies, three from red cardstock and three from white; with the idea of aligning them back-to-back. Then I took the silhouettes from the In The Meadow die set and cut the sleighing kid and the horse sleigh in the white tags, using the negative space to bring them to life. I couldn’t do the same with the deers since they’re in a cluster of shapes, so I cut the silhouettes from red cardstock and arranged them on the third tag. I wanted to use the sentiments from the matching stamp set but they’re all too big, so I settled for the phrase from Mega Mixed Messages instead.
I used a silver metallic pen to fill in the debossed circle on each of the tags. It gave the design a nice finish and a bit of more of an ‘oomph’. Hope you like them 🙂
