CAS, watercolour, and a giveaway winner!

Written by: iwona    13 Comments

Happy TGIF! I’m gearing up towards three days of work, I had to take on Sundays as well (temporarily) which makes the whole weekend go out the window. I thought I’d do some stamping today as I won’t have any more chances this week. Sharing a lil’ something below, but first up, three cheers to the winner of my giveaway!

Rebecca Ednie says:

I’m a huge fan of your freestyle collage cards. I love the balance and cohesiveness you achieve even when the items seem like they don’t go together at first.

Rebecca, I’ll be in touch with you shortly!
Humongous thanks to everyone for your insight and feedback, that I received on the aforementioned post. While I have no capacities or time enough to make all of your wishes happen, I took a mental note of each and every one.
Lots of you mentioned that you like my tutorials of all kinds, especially in video format. This doesn’t come as a surprise. Although as a video-tutorial-avoider I was at first shocked by how much so many crafters rely on this type of education.
I wish it was an easier job to make videos. I did quite a few exclusives already for StampNation while I maintained my forum there, but I needed to drop it altogether because it required so much of my time and yielded too much frustration. I do have in plans to try to populate my Youtube channel over time but these days I rarely can afford half a day without interruption from the littles, to shoot and edit one. Knowing the subject ‘from the kitchen’, I have a lot of respect for fellow crafty friends who make videos by the dozen, in their free time and more often than not, completely for free as well.
Please bear with me!

As I mentioned, I’m also sharing a simple card today. I decided to join a couple of awesome challenges, namely CAS(E) This Sketch #83 and ric#63 - Just Cavalli Resort.

I put to work the Valentine Wishes stamps and dies from WPlus9, and Peerless watercolours. I stamped the images and sentiment with Versafine ink, watercoloured over and wherever the black faded a bit, I helped myself to a black felt tip pen.

See you… well, hopefully soon enough! Smooches xx
