A whopper of an update… on pubs

At first I procrastinated… then late pregnancy kicked in and I couldn’t be bothered, followed by the appearance of a bundle of sweetness which kept us on our toes since. I’ve been thinking that I should finally gather all those mags together and be done with but you know the story… the more there is, the less you feel like tackling it. Eh? Well, I started on some serious Christmas cleaning today and I figured that I either do it now and file these away contentedly, or I can forget about it altogether :)

There will be quite a few photos but I’ll keep talking to a minimum. Julka’s teething and I’m not having a fun day today :( Also, I know that most of these photos are pretty crappy, I was short on time and the lighting is less than desirable. I hope I won’t offend you too much with the quality!
Let’s start with a few issues from the first half of the year.
Vol. 19 No. 5. Feature on creative use of embossing folders. Cover girl. You may recognize this card; it was pulled from my blog, originally submitted to the Waltzingmouse sketch challenge. When it still existed…

Also, this set. I have a half-decent photo from my studio as well, a bonus for you :)

Vol. 19 No. 6. Color Blocking. Just this little number.

Vol. 19 No. 8. DOUBLE cover girl :)

Studio Steps feature.

…and this little number for Multicolour Stamping. Got a better photo from my studio here as well.

Vol. 19 No. 12. That’s when I had a baby and took a few months’ break from submitting. A card set. Sorry for a crappy photo…

Vol. 20 No. 1. That’s the current issue. Cute Christmas treat boxes, created with Silhouette.

And lastly, Vol. 20 No. 2. Shhh… coming to the stores soon. Cover girl again :) Stay tuned for this one!

You will see quite a lot from me, in the upcoming months. I’m busy creating as we speak :) Thanks for joining me for this arduous post! lol

Pubs, pubs…

Good afternoon, folks! I finally made it today… organized my recent publications into another long-overdue post! Let’s start with a major WOOT, something that made me truly happy when it arrived at my door… March / April issue of Paper Crafts magazine, with my Moxie Fab Challenge winning card in it! This is my first time with PC! (looking forward to submitting but I always lack the time…)

Last month you could also see my “So Blessed” card, in the issue of Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine. It was featured as a part of a “Working with Die-cuts” feature, and you can find it on page 31.

Lastly, also in Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft but this time the current issue, I have four cards. These two, featuring Flourishes Berry Sweet stamp set in a Stamper’s Challenge feature (home photos):

…a Mother’s Day card:

…and a sketch card! (again, home photo)

Please refer to the hard copies, for the details on all of the above :)
Thanks for looking! xoxo

Live what you love, plus ACSP pubs

I’m battling along with lots of work today, so I’m making it short & sweet… Like the awesome Teri would say…meet today’s card!

Pink Paislee paper, some washi tape, Glitz Design die cut sticker & stamps (except from the butterfly, which is Inkadinkado’s - coloured with Copics & highlighted with white gel pen), Prima glittered chipboard (die cut frame) & star button, pearls…

Inspiration:

I also wanted to quickly share a partly overdue (again!) report on the recent Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft Magazine publications.
This card you could find in the last month’s (January) issue:

…and this one you will find in the fresh-off-the-shelves February copy!

Cheers :)

October ACSP publications

Hello! It’s high time I shared with you, my contribution to the Christmas issue of Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine!

I’m happy to say that I’ve got a total of six cards inside, with one of them making me a cover girl again! Good feeling, that :)
I apologize for the quality of photos, the light is terrible today… good thing I’ve got the home photos to share as well!
This set of three, you can find on pages 26-28.

And that’s how it looked like before it hit the post office… gives you a bit of a clearer look.
I used Spellbinders dies, Penny Black sentiments and different polka dot papers.

Next is the Time Management feature, where I contributed with two versions of a simple Christmas card, great for those who are mass producing these before the Holidays! Find these on page 56.

Again, here’s a better photo, but yet without the ribbon and with a darker colour of the cardstock - I had some last minute changes done :)
The stamps all come from Waltzingmouse.

Lastly, a sketch feature card, that made it to the cover as well as page 82!
Cosmo Cricket papers and lots of Spellbinders dies is amongst what I used on it.

Thanks for stopping by today! See you on Thursday, for a CASE Study card :)

September ACSP publication

Please check out my TCM sketch card below as well!

Seeing as a new, special Christmas issue of Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine is hitting the shelves soon, I thought I better share submissions in the current one first!

On page 18, there’s a set of three graphic cards, using some PTI stamps and Pink Paislee papers. As always, you can find the detailed info on these, as well as lots more fabulousness, in the mag itself.

I’ll share what I’ve got in the new issue, in a couple of weeks. All I can say, that it’s my biggest single issue contribution to date, and I might just be a cover girl again… 😉

July/August ACSP publications

Please check out my Flourishes card below this post as well!

I seem to have developed a routine with sharing my pubs with delay… Better late than never though, so let’s find out first, what you could find from me in the July issue of Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft :)

On page 26 there are two cards featuring stamps from Lawn Fawn Admit One stamp set, as a part of the Stamper’s Challenge feature.
Here are my ‘home shots’ of these:

Also, the issue featured some Father’s Day cards, and I submitted one with Waltzingmouse Free Spirit stamps and a negative die cutting technique. You can find it on page 43.

And here’s the recent pub, to be found in the current, August issue of ACSP.

A card featuring the cute Nana Luv Ollie digi from Some Odd Girl, prepared for the “Focus on Sentiments” feature. You can find it on page 23.

I hope you like them :) Thanks for taking a peek!
