My apologies for a slightly delayed post! Here are the winners of the Season’s Givings giveaway, see the original post here. Big thanks to everyone who commented, especially giving me hints on what you enjoyed or would like to see more from me this year! It was of a great help to find out what I should concentrate on, to make your stay more pleasurable. I want to deliver the best content possible, within my physical abilities 😀

Happy New Year Iwona!!! I love seeing how you create your cards and how you bring simple things to shine.

Please note that I only picked from among the entrants who also left me a comment, as per the requirements I outlined in the original post. Unfortunately I had to re-draw the names a couple of times because the person linked herself up but left no other “mark” on my blog otherwise. The giveaway is a great way to thank YOU for being super awesome, but I’d also like to know that the winner is not just a casual “prize hunter” who will never visit again. Thanks for understanding :)

Ladies, please contact me via email, you can find the link on the sidebar. Lauren, please include your snail mail address. To find out who my feather card will go to, tune up to my Facebook page shortly. Thanks all for joining me for the hop and beyond!

Papertrey Ink September Blog Hop

So, I thought I’d play with Papertrey Ink September Blog Hop! It has a lovely theme, I LOVE wreaths so much. Even though my PTI supply collection is nowhere near fitting for the given theme, I felt determined to give my stash a workout and see what I can come up with :)

So, what did I do? I used the Harvest Berries set to trail around my “hoop”, which I made out of the big clock face from Hands Of Time… You must think I’m crazy now, right?? Well, I had nothing else so that had to do for now… what do you think? :)
For the sentiment, I pulled out the In The Meadow set. As for the layout, I have seen it popping up on my fav card makers’ blogs (Laura Bassen, Cristina Kowalczyk) and although not convinced at first, I was intrigued to try if I can make it work for me. I popped the panel up on foam tape and tucked a length of washi tape underneath. Also, Glossy Accents was added to the berries for an extra “oomph” :)

It’s a celebration

Hello, I’m afraid it’s going to be another quickie! It’s been whole week of short posts and so few of them as well, somehow everything’s just piled up and I had precious little time for crafting. Also, I wanted to post this last night (which hasn’t worked out either, as you can see) so I’m in a super hurry to get if only a small time gap between this post and the CASE Study that comes in two short hours…. duh! what a mess :)
Anyway, I’m playing with The Birthday Party Invitation Challenge in the Moxie Fab World, and the Monday Mood Board #17, with these. You’ve got to forgive me the terrible photos as well. I don’t know whether it’s my tiredness or the fact that I used a shimmery, reflective gold ink, but I’m having immense trouble photographing this lot. Sigh.

Lots of WPlus9, of course. I tried several different patterns, is there any one that you particularly like? Apart from the other faults of this ensemble, lol.

I also smuggled in the star from the Mama Elephant stamp set, just the perfect size! The Copic marker I used to colour in the ribbon banner is Y35.
See you again in a wink!

Sweet, kind, patient… Craft Dash #17

Just a quick post, guys. There seem to be many these days - trying to tie some loose ends, last minute before the bubs arrives!
I made the time to play with the 10 Minute Craft Dash #17 this morning, it’s such a sweet colour combo I just can’t pass on this one :)

I had a simple stamped card in mind, some florals arranged freely in the corner of the panel, and I settled down for my long un-inked, beautiful stamps from The Craft’s Meow. This is what I started with, not much of an accurate picture of all the supplies used in the end, I fussed a lot with this design and added a couple of things that weren’t initially on my list.

My time, longer than it should’ve been by at least a minute, because of the aforementioned fussing over… oh well, that’s how I roll and I’m only glad that I made it within the time frame! Thanks goodness I settled down for a simple design in the first place, so that there’s always some room left for changes *wink*
