Really Reasonable Ribbon September Blog Hop!

Hello and happy Monday to you! It’s time for another super cool Blog Hop at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and I’m very happy that you decided to participate! :)
You should have come here from Jacque’s blog. If you don’t happen to know about the event, do not fret! Head on over to the RRR blog and start from the beginning. There is not only a ton of inspiration waiting for you on the way, but also an irresistible PRIZE!

I prepared not one, but two projects for you today! I’ve gone crazy using twill ribbon… no wonder, there’s plenty of wonderful twill in all sorts of colours to go crazy for, in the RRR store!

Firstly, I decided on a simple bow… you know I LOVE my bows :) No matter what other fun techniques are there, I’m always finding myself coming back to the basics… and enjoying it!
I used Totally Twill Pink.

Supplies: cardstock: Artarama, American Crafts; paper: DCWV; Basic Grey, Kaisercraft; stamp: Stamp It!; ink: StazOn (Timber Brown); watercolour pencils: Belgrave; blender pen; twill ribbon; Cuttlebug embossing folder: Perfectly Paisley; border punch: Martha Stewart

The sketch is VLVSep2010 Week 3, and the inspiration comes from here.

I also discovered, how cool stamping on twill is! Check out for yourselves:

This time I used some measure tape twill (currently out of stock, but check back later - it’s a FUN one!), and stamped on the BACK of it.

Really Reasonable Ribbon August Blog Hop!

Hi all! Ready for another Blog Hop full of ribbon eye candy?
If you came here from Jacque’s blog, then you’re on the right track. If not, perhaps you would like to go to the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog and start from there :)

The card that I prepared for you features some of my favourite products from the store.
Therefore, it couldn’t do without some lovely May Arts lace, and wrinkled ribbon in lush brown.
Also, I couldn’t resist using Jute ribbon - this time in Slate. Frankly, I can’t resist adding it to virtually anything lately! :)

Supplies: cardstock: american Crafts; paper: My Mind’s Eye, Basic Grey; stamp: The Greeting Farm; ink: StazOn (Timber Brown); watercolour pencils: Belgrave; blender pen; decorative chalks: Pebbles; Nestabilities Ovals, Scalloped Ovals; sewing machine; all ribbon available in the store

Isn’t this stamp adorable? Awww…
The colours on my card come from PDCC42, and the sketch is CCEE1032. I seriously dig both…

I’ve got one for ya’ too!
Leave me a comment under this post, and I’ll randomly draw one lucky person to receive some ribbon goodness, along with ten of my cards!

RRR July Blog Hop meets Tuesday Morning Sketches!

A warm hello, and welcome to our monthly Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop!
If you came here from the RRR blog, than you’re on the right track. If not, you’d want to hop over there and read all about the details and the prize, that we’ve got in store for one lucky participant!!

Here’s the card that I prepared for the event. I used some Moss Green Leaves to create the vine around the seniment, decorated it with ribbon flowers (you can make some of these easily enough, with one of the reversible ribbons available in the store), and finished it off with a big bow, made from a luscious 1.5 in Green Gingham.
I also added a length of jute under the panel. I like the overall “all natural” effect. I hope you like it too!

There’s one more fun announcement to make - my card is being featured on Tuesday Morning Sketches today, as a part of the blog’s First Birthday! Throughout the month of July, all previous Guest Designers showcase a card, based on one of the previous sketches (I used TMS #30).

YAY Melissa & happy 1st, TMS!!!
Thank you so much for the opportunity, I’m glad to have joined in this happy time!
I hope you’ll take time to visit the blog, to see what the rest of the girls cooked up for this event, and who knows? Maybe you’ll get inspired to design a card yourself, based on one of their sketches :)

(I’m so sorry for this info appearing later than it should… I’m being on a such a whirlwind lately, and it bounced out of my mind… ARGH!!!)

Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop

Hello, and welcome to our monthly Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop!
You should have come here from the RRR blog - if not, you’d want to hop over there and read about the details and the prize, that we’ve got in store for one lucky participant!!

For my project, I chose to highlight the cheerful selection of ribbon in the June Ribbon Club. Don’t these luscious greens and yellows remind you of a summery meadow?

Photobucket

Supplies: cardstock: Quill; paper: Basic Grey; stamp: Stampin’ Up!; ink: ColorBox (Black); ribbon: from the June Ribbon Club

The flowers are made from the length of wired ribbon (5/8” wired sheer yellow/lime square print), that’s available exclusively through the Club. I pulled on the wire carefully from both ends, then bunched and formed the flower, and stitched the ribbon together. It’s an easy way to make own effective flowers.

I used the FTL94 sketch for the card on the left (flipped on the side, and modified slightly).
