Hello, friends! I’m so glad you joined us today for the Spellbinders Spring Blog Hop! Each day of the week, the Design Team is sharing inspiring tutorials using some of our favorite 2012 dies.

Here’s the card that I’m sharing:

Spellbinders™ Paper Arts Supplies:

Preferred Partner Companies:

Cross Promotional Partners:

Begin by embossing a piece of white cardstock, with Sea Flowers Grand Impressabilities™. Make it slightly smaller than your card base.

Distress the edges slightly, mat with a larger piece of white cardstock and sew together.

Cut and emboss more white cardstock, with the second largest of the Labels Eighteen dies. Clear emboss the Just Rite label stamp.

Once the label is wet embossed, stamp the sentiment.
Cut a matching pair of butterflies from Wonderful Wings.

Emboss the upper, lacey part, and emboss the solid part with Sea Flowers Grand Impressabilities.

You can now join the two parts together in the middle, using strong glue, and set aside to dry.
Wrap a double bow around your embossed panel with an organza ribbon, and adhere it to the standard A5 card base.

Adhere the label over the ribbon using foam squares. Add the butterfly and embellish it with two pearls.

The Spellbinders™ Spring Blog Hop will begin April 30th, and will end on May 5th, 2012. It consists of 16 individual and one grand prize drawings. Enter the Spellbinders™ Spring Blog Hop by visiting the participating blogs each day.

From each Blog Hop post, click on the Blog Hop “Enter HERE” at the end of each blog to open the entry form. You may only enter once from each blog each day.

Spellbinders™ will randomly draw one winner from each participating blog to receive all of that day’s products. The Grand Prize Winner will be randomly drawn from the pool of entrants that sent entry forms from each and every participating blog during the 48 hours each blog was open. For the full list of official rules please click RULES.

  7. The die-cutting and embossing add so much dimension and interest - something to remember if you need to make a card in a hurry - go monochromatic! The other really nice thing about this card is that it is “all occasion”. Love the Sea Flowers Impressabilities! Just a great card.

Congrats on making the Spellbinders DT!

  9. Hi Chupa,
This is a wonderful, simply elegant card. Something so spectacular yet easy to create and could be done quick enough to be a last minute card too. Thank you for the full project, it is easy to understand and one I can show my friends daughter who has been learning to craft with me almost every week. She loves Spellbinders but cannot afford them so loves to come and use mine.
Have a great week Linda x

  10. Hi Iwona,
I don’t think my original comment went through, I seem to be having problems this end.
I adore your card, simply elegant. It is beautiful yet easy enough to be a last minute card if needed (yet anyone receiving it would think you had spent hours and hours creating it).
Thank you for the easy to follow instructions too.
    All the best Linda x
