Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #78

Written by: iwona    7 Comments

Eeeep! I’ve been caught up in the previous week’s busy schedule, and then Zuzia’s birthday yesterday (which was great!!), and I run out of time for the new sketch. In a quick stamping affair, I whipped up both the sketch and card this Monday morning, a delicious CAS design with plenty of possibilities.

The idea is to have something trailing down your card. You name it - butterflies, birds, fish, geometric designs like I did… (hot air balloons? clouds? flowers? he possibilities are virtually endless here).

The stamps used, all come from PTI sets; dots from Boy Basics: Simple Circles, and the sentiment is combined from two different pieces from two sets: Daffodils & Mega Mixed Messages.

I helped myself to this fantastic inspiration, Stripe + Polka Dot Color Trends Challenge:

A few things to keep in mind if you decide to use my sketch:

- You’re kindly asked to save the image onto your computer first, and if you make a card based on it, please link back to this post.
- If you upload your card to an online gallery, use the code SSC78.
- Feel free to share the link to your creation via the Inlinkz widget, so that I can come and check it out!
- The colours/elements mean nothing towards the card. All styles, colours and supplies, as well as slight alterations of the sketch are welcome.
- A new sketch and sample is posted every Saturday, but you’re welcome to play any time! Just leave a link in the comments section after Inlinkz widget closes.
