CASE Study Challenge #134

Written by: iwona    8 Comments

We’re at our last challenge for March, at CASE Study , and with that comes the fact that there will be no more inspiration from Julie Ebersole beyond this point… sniff! Still, we’re ending the month with one of my favourite cards from Julie, one that inspired my work many times before. Impeccable design, perfect in every way!

Not only the colours are spot on, the shapes she chose compliment each other so well, and the placement of all including the sentiment is well thought through. I think it’s pretty obvious how this design inspired my card. There’s a horizontal design element (I chose subtle chevron) and a pop of colour provided by feathers instead of foliage. The card is wonderfully shimmery, I stamped most of the elements with Brilliance inks.

  1. I love this card! I’ve been a fan of feathers forever, so the fact that they’re trendy right now is so much fun.

  2. How beautiful!! your stamping is amazing and the colors look so good together!! I love how everything is see through. I need to get those feather stamps, they look almost real!

  3. Beautiful card, as always my dear! Love the colours of the feathers and that the chevron is overstamped on them. I am so going to miss having Julie be the muse. :-(

  4. Eeeks…. I have been so busy and this was a delight for card blog neglected eyes, LOL!! LOVE it… the chevrons are perfect with those feathers!!
