Hi friends, I’m here to share another Jay Gee’s Nook card with you! It has some Paper Smooches goodness on it, including the super adorable Loopy Leaf die and a Chit Chat stamp set. The first was cut out of green felt, and the latter shaded with G94 / G82 Copic markers.
Simply Scallops Medium Die-Namics were used to cut the funky cork sheet border. The patterned paper comes from My Mind’s Eye Alphabet Soup collection - an oldie but goodie
It seems pretty crazy, but this card is actually an entry in 10 Minute Craft Dash #14. I made it with mere 4 seconds to spare, but boy am I ever trying this trick again! I learnt the hard way that layers are only for super brave and super fast, in case of attempting to put those together in such a short time… I’ve had my supplies literally flying across the room and only by a stroke of luck, all of my fingers are still there… lol! Next time I should think about returning to the safe one-layer 😛
Traditionally, let’s see what I started with! (the pink button’s not there yet, I only had it added when I realized that my card has no pink whatsoever. Ouch!

You are one crazy girl - only you could pull this off!! Please continue to not play safe! It is totally worth it when the results are like this!! You’ve even made me like that Paper Smooches sentiment with its weird fonts!!
It is fun to see if it’s possible to make a card in less than 10 minutes! Your card is amazing. Really love the felt and cork, and the coloring on the thanks is perfect. Great card. Bev
This card is beautiful! I love all the different textures and how the “thanks” pops!
Thanks so much for joining us at the 10 Minute Craft Dash - I hope we’ll see you again soon
Seriously loving your new website, girlie! It’s so pretty and I love how easy it is to maneuver!
Since I recently switched mine over, I know it’s a hassle and hard to get everything “just right”, but it’s so worth it!
This card is oh-so-beautiful! I love it all, I don’t even know where to start. That die cut is amazing and I probably never would have noticed it if it weren’t for you. (You are such an enabler!) Great use of cork, loving the shading on the letters and the fun button additions.
You seriously ROCK my challenge every single time you play along, Chupa. Keep up the amazing work!
I LOVE that you used just one pink button to bring in that colour - what a good accent (I always feel like I should feature ALL the colours, but a good reminder that sometimes a small accent will do). And those PS leaf dies are really catching my eye, even if they aren’t my usual go-to style.
Gorgeous card, Chupa - it’s fun to see you play along with us at the Craft Dash - and always so easy to love what you create!
