A (not so warm today, even up here!) hello, crafty friends! First of all… enjoy your holidays!!
—————————————————
I do have a new sketch to share… along with another change in the way I take my photos… I thought I better give you a fair warning, before you come asking first!
I’m going to stick to this one for a while, hopefully.
Goodness knows I’m well aware how unprofessional it is, to surprise you with one change after another & make you doubt whether you indeed came to the same blog… ugh. Sounds right?
I’ve been trying to play around with different props lately, but apart from the fact that I haven’t figured out what’s best for my new photo setting yet, my camera is just not up for the game and I guess I have to stick to the basics, make the most of them in order not to embarrass myself any more… lol
I hope that one of these days I’ll gift myself with a new camera and some decent lens. In the meantime, hope you’ll enjoy the new style better than the last few (dreadful) photos 🙂

So… on to the sketch! It’s yet another inspired one, this time it’s this amazing little card that I pinned a couple of days ago. Not only I adore the style, but I was also happy to finally find a horizontal layout that I find tempting enough to tackle! I’m sure you’ve noticed my obsession with vertical cards; I’m working on it but it’s damn hard to resist the temptation…
A fair mix of products here… October Afternoon paper, dies from Cheery Lynn / Memory Box / Simon Says, Prima blooms, chipboard pieces, washi. I’m still on a pastel kick, although I couldn’t resist to make my pastels just a little bit brighter and more defined. I like my colours to shine.
A few things to keep in mind if you decide to use my sketch:
- Feel free to share the link to your creation via the Inlinkz widget, so that I can come and check it out!
- The colours/elements mean nothing towards the card. All styles, colours and supplies, as well as slight alterations of the sketch are welcome.
- A new sketch and sample is posted every other Saturday night (American EST time ~ or around mid-day Sunday Melbourne time), but you’re welcome to play any time! Just leave a link in the comments section after Inlinkz widget closes.

How exciting to see your new blog, Chupa! I came to see the new SS sketch. Hoping to play this time around. Happy Easter!
Happy Easter 🙂
Gorgeous card, and I have only ever seen great photographs here!
Have a LOVELY Easter Chupa!
Beautiful!!!
Wonderful card. Just FYI - while your photos are fabulous, they are coming through REALLY REALLY large — and I have a really big screen. Just sayin….
Lovely bright happy cheery card Chupa!! As usual I wish I had your skill for layering and pairing elements, you do it with such ease!! And it’s important to keep experimenting until you’re happy, so don’t worry about it! Happy Easter sweetie, mwah!
Your card is adorable.
Love your new blog Chupa and thank you for the sketch, I had a great time creating my card with your sketch:)
Hugs,
Norma
