Yeah, couldn’t miss Lift Project again… especially that the inspiration card comes from another amazing Polish artist whose work I adore, Betik. Check it out:
Dreamy. Utterly gorgeous. Whatever you call it, it’s there. You must know that I really did try to break out the pastels in papers and embellies. It was my love for contrasts and bold colour combinations that won in the end. There’s no point denying my style when it surfaces every time I try it *smiles* although I’m sure I could pull off something more similar, today just wasn’t the day!
For the similarities, I hope you can see some in the layout 🙂
I really dig the wording along the top of the card but I didn’t have enough space for anything elaborate, so I added the “smile” phrase with Studio Calico wood veneer letters. They bring balance to the card by counteracting a heavy cluster of blooms and such, on the opposite side of the frame. It’s Kaisercraft’s die cut, btw. Such a lovely thing 🙂
I hope you like it.
On a housekeeping note: I added a FB “Like” box to the sidebar, so please “like” my page if you haven’t yet done so! It’s a fairly new thing I did (building a page), and as much as it will surely take time, I hope to take it to the higher level when time allows. I’d love to engage with you in all sorts of creative crafty gossip 🙂
Until next time! xx

Wonderful cars. And great words inside!

Stacey, it’s very similar to CASE Study, with a card given for an inspiration. Lifting means CASE-ing 🙂
