Not sure why, my mojo was easily excitable today and I literally couldn’t stop coming up with ideas. Good or bad ones, I’m leaving it to you, but it was pretty amusing regardless, seeing myself grinning over the papers like a kiddo… days like today remind me how much I love this stuff. Anyone with me?? ‘Course you are 
It was the Moxie Fab World challenges that geared me up, there’s so many of them at the moment and each more awesome than the other. Here’s what I tackled.
Tuesday Trigger: A Painterly Palette. The pattern that the paint cans created, got me thinking about a background of elements which I could fill in with similar colours. I chose the cute Waltzingmouse jars and added a subtle Copic colour to each of them. After adding the sentiment, I scattered some confetti over one jar and put glitter over the dots for a sparkly bokeh effect. Or are they fireflies?
Next up, the Trendy Triangles Challenge. I can’t believe how trendy they actually are these days. I never thought I’d get excited about this stuff either but boy are they cute!! I combined the Studio Calico wood veneer shapes (shaded a couple with Copics) with the edgy papers. Notice how the pattern on the top paper, reinforces the effect of movement? I really like how all these elements look together.
Lastly, The Birthday Card Challenge. I wanted to use a stamp that’s designed for this purpose, rather than the generic flowers or such, and my choice fell on the Lil’ Inker retro girls. I brought them to life with a simple Copic colouring - no shading whatsoever. It’s a cool retro look!
