It’s time for a new CASE Study, woot woot!! It’s also the beginning of a new month and it means that a new Muse is here!! I’m extremely pleased that we’ll be indulging in Kathy Racoosin’s gorgeous artwork this September. I got to know Kathy better only recently, when I contacted her about CASE Study, and she’s one of the nicest people I know. On top of that, she has some serious skilz and she rocks Copics and other colouring mediums like it’s nobody’s business I’m going to have so much fun this month!
How about we start with this beauty by Kathy…
Oh, those ever-so-famous white dots! I can’t believe I haven’t gone in that direction, I really wanted to try and channel my inner Kathy but something’s gotten AWOL and I ended up with the piece below… lol! It’s probably because I was again working under pressure and couldn’t think my project over properly. Next time, they say! Instead, I took in the colours

I also used the lovely FTL256 sketch, after a few modifications to this timeless layout 😉
