Another month starts at CASE Study and it means a brand new Muse! Love this stuff, never gets old I tell ya
I’m pleased to say that October belongs to the one and only Elena Roussakis! Elena is an all-round amazing crafter but I’m especially in awe of her talent in throwing stylish mini-parties for her kids, friends and extended family. She must have tackled all and any of the available themes, and did them all with astounding creativity, dedication and attention to detail that is awe-inspiring. I’m super stoked to collaborate with her and I hope I’ll learn a thing or two in the process
Because of the more-than-ordinary content on her blog, I didn’t want to restrict myself to featuring her cards only (although they’re adorbs!!), and I decided to go for her larger projects instead. They should be regarded as inspiration boards, yet still much as the cards were an inspiration in the past challenges. Here’s the first installment…
Everything about that sugary-sweet ensemble was speaking to me, with a bit of modern and a bit of retro, the super cute banner and polka dots and a lavish presentation. You can see the whole thing HERE on her blog. I knew I’m gonna go for the banner and polka dots, and made up a mixture of old and new as well, on this card below.
As I happened to use washi tape again (the bunting is made by folding the tape over a length of string and trimming into banners), I’m entering this card into The Stickers & Tape Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.
The chalkboard title is cut from the My Mind’s Eye Cut & Paste patterned paper and matted with PTI Summer Sunrise cardstock. The polka dot DP is also from the Cut & Paste collection. The flourish, Victorian lady & vintage button die cuts, belong to Kaisercraft Miss Empire collectables.
Check out the blogs below for the Design Team’s takes on the challenge, or visit CASE Study for the full reveal. Welcome also to our October Guestie, Michelle!!

Seriously amazing. This is modern-meets-vintage Chupa!! I haven’t seen you make a card like this for a while and I’ve missed them! Love the sugary sweet colour palette and all the layers and elements. I now want this card and about half the supplies on it!!!
