Hello and apologies for the late! I had high hopes for yesterday but apparently unrealistic and I didn’t make it with both making the card and posting it. Fear not, the second installment of countdown to Christmas is here! I hope you enjoyed last week too
As a reminder, the plan is to share a new Christmas card made with Penny Black stamps each week. This time I used the Skyline slapstick stamp, wet embossing & sponging and some Liquid Pearls, to create the ‘winter in the city’ scene with falling snow. I was musing about how cool it would be to do the twilight scene with the ‘Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night‘ sentiment, albeit no such sentiment here and so I opted for a frosty day instead
Speaking of the sentiment, I once again used Yuletide Greetings. Such lovely, elegant fonts in this set!
I love how the cool, shiny textures of the embossed image and Liquid Pearls, helps to ‘feel’ the coldness of this wintry scene. So do the colours. I like how it turned out
Thanks for stopping by, I’ll see you next Sunday - this time on time, hopefully! *wink*

this is so pretty!!
Classic City Christmas chic darling! Love those buildings and the falling snow! Great colours, perfect for a Winter scene!!
Fabulous, LOVE it! The frame is wonderful with the embossed border
