ETA: I’m sorry for the delay, I accidentally saved the post, instead of scheduling it… blame it on my tired brain… duh!

Hello and welcome to November Flourishes Beautiful World Tour! I hope you’ll join us for the blog hop and get inspired by the talented girls from all over the globe. Leave a comment on every stop, and you could WIN A FREE FLOURISHES STAMP SET! You’ve got until Nov 30tht for your chance to win.

You should have arrived here from Meredith’s blog, you can also join us from the beginning at the Flourishes Blog.

This month our hostess is Bridget and she challenged us to Off The Page. I made a mixed media decoration, to put on a mantle or hang on the wall. I used my favourite Santa, I Believe stamp set, on a small sized stretched canvas. I used a Silhouette - cut template and Wendy Vecchi silver embossing paste, to do the textured background, and then another Silhouette cut: a snowflake frame (paired with a large Spellbinders circle), to put the Santa face on.

I added some life to Santa’s cheeks, by giving it some colour in light pink Copic marker (E93). The sentiment has been stamped in black pigment ink, on a piece of vellum. I finished with a big satin bow topped with a matching colour flower. Oh, and lots of sparkly gems :)

Thanks for taking time to visit me here in Australia, it’s time to grab your passports and board Flourishes Flight, your next and last destination is… Bridget’s blog!

  1. I love it when you use this image! Beautifully done in shades of icy blue, the ribbon/flower embellishment is gorgeous and the bg is so creative!

  2. What a fun image to choose for this delightful decoration. Your flowing, flower-accented ribbon is the perfect finish. Beautiful piece, thanks for the inspiration.
