Kill me now! Yet again I don’t have a Guest Designer for my sketch… welp. The reason for failing on all fronts lately is because we’re immersed in a house buying - selling frenzy. We’re not going anywhere yet (in fact, not for another year or so), but we’re making plans and it’s both exciting and time-consuming. It may not slow down much until 2014! In the meantime, I’m trying to keep my head above the water 
So anyway, how ’bout a new sketch??
I finally tackled the ever-so-popular diagonals. Not entirely comfortable with them but they sure do tickle me silly! I hope you guys will have fun with it
My card is inspired by ric#47 with the photo below. It reminds me of an old favvie of mine, an Authentique Gathering paper pad. I used the striped paper from it, in combination with a bit of matching orange CS, and I also fussy cut some poppies from another sheet, one of the prettiest floral patterned papers that I’ve seen. I combined those with some die cut leafy branches. The sentiment is from Waltzingmouse.
I’m leaving you with the sweet face (or two!) of my little Missy, Julka, who just turned the big SIX MONTHS today! She’s the sweetest, cutest baby on the face of the earth. She makes my heart melt and I love her big time. She’s a challenge as well but I’ll take it any day.
