Hi there! It got busy on my blog again, tired of me yet?? We have a launch of a new month at CASE Study and surely you know what it means! Today makes me happy because I get to introduce a personal Muse and a sweet blogging friend on the blog today, Wida Miller. I’m ga-ga over her style and personality! Here’s what we start the fun with…
There’s so much about this card that makes me swoon but I chose to pick only an element or two that I like about it best, and run with it. So I chose to make stamping on patterned paper the main feature of my card. I picked a bolder design than Wida did (trying to push it as always, lol). Actually both of the papers used here belong to the same sheet - Saltwater “Endless Summer” from Elle’s Studio.
I covered the card front with the chevron side first, added a strip of grey cardstock and mounted the panel over on foam tape, once I was done fiddling with it 🙂
As for the panel, I stamped the various circles from Simon Says Stamp Lots Of Dots with an array of Hero Arts Mid-Tone and Shadow Inks. Then I die cut the SSS Big Hello sentiment from the same paper twice and adhered it over while trying to align the writing. I finished with a few enamel dots.
(see, I can occasionally use something else than sequins :p )
Check out the blogs below for the Design Team’s takes on the challenge, or visit CASE Study for the full reveal. A big welcome to both the new Muse and our Guest Designer for May!

I adore this card! I can just imagine the smile on the face of the recipient!
I LOVE this card! The word stands out nicely on the background dots, but I think the fact that you lined up the writing also adds to the effect.
Your circles and chevrons make this card so happy Chupa!
Hands down my fave CASE DT card this week! Love all that color and clever matching die cut. Now I need to CASE YOU!
you made my card look like something done in 1985. your card is so fresh!! thanks for the opportunity to be part of Case Study
