Uh-oh, I’m late! Sentiments aside, I need to be up again in 5 hours so better get cracking… between adjusting to working and the Gallery Idol madness (I moved to the next round, many thanks to everyone who voted!!), I haven’t been crafting much lately. I have a card I made over a week ago, that still needs to me blogged as well. Ohmygosh.
Anyway, here’s the sketch! I love it, hope you do as well 🙂
A bit of a freestyle collage, I grabbed a few things lying around… those sorts of cards are easiest for me to make.
I started by stamping a few triangle & arrow motifs from Mama Elephant‘s Trifecta stamp set, in PTI Fine Linen ink. Then I added the sentiment strip with ‘thank you’ from Altenew‘s Label Love (in ME Mojito ink) and another, thinner strip of black cardstock underneath. This helped me ground the design.
Afterwards I sprinkled Barn Door Distress Paint and Patina Glimmer Mist, added the chipboard butterfly (Basic Grey Fact & Fiction) and clouds die cuts (Studio Calico). I finished with some sequins and a Studio Calico enamel dot.
Here’s the inspiration for my card, Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge #19. I’ve been waiting for the opportunity to play with one of Miss T.’s 🙂
