Beach Girl digi stamp showcase

My friend Elena has recently started sketching digital designs and she asked a few designers to help her spread the word about a cute free digi called Beach Girl, that she’s now offering on her blog. I couldn’t say no to her, or the little beach bum cutie, for that matter! Here’s my contribution:

I printed the girl twice on white cardstock and created a sponged background with Distress Inks around one of them. I coloured the other one with Copics, cut out and mounted over the scene which I trimmed to a rectangle shape. Here’s the list of Copics I used:
swimsuit B00/02/04, RV11/14/19, G09
skin E00/02/04/93
hair Y23/26/28

I stamped the sentiment from a Simon Says set in the corner, layered the panel on some Rich Razzleberry cardstock and mounted everything on a card covered with trimmed canvas flowers from Basic Grey Soleil collection. Lastly I covered the swimsuit with Wink Of Stella (can’t really see it on the photos), added a resin flower to the girl’s hair and a sequin star to the flag.

  3. Oh my goodness!!! The coloring techniques you used are brilliant!!! You totally brought that adorable, sweet and lovely image to life!! So so so cute! Lovely card too!!
