So, right on the day I announce closing down (temporarily, I hope) CASE Study (see the post here), I get to chime in with a rare these days, second post for a day. Totally a last minute idea, guys… I hope you’ll enjoy them both 🙂
I seem to have mastered impulse joining PTI Blog Hops, I usually forget about them until I browse Facebook in the evening and stumble upon someone’s early post (which by the way totally happened tonight). It doesn’t help that 10 am EST when the Blog Hop start means midnight my time either, lol.
Anyway, this month’s Blog Hop Challenge has a delightful photo inspiration, complete with colour combos and sketches to pick from. The photo itself got me decided on joining but I picked a specific sketch and colours and run with them.
What a class in both! I initially had in mind a single layer with large, graphic leafy shapes radiating from the center to create a flower, but I found nothing suitable in my PTI stash (which is getting severely outdated, ouch!). Then I saw the Hands Of Time stamp set and I knew what to do.
I die cut a window in a Soft Stone panel and stamped the clock face inside and on the base layer, in Soft Stone ink. Then I stamped and fussy cut the flowers and foliage from Ruby Rose, and tucked the elements under the sentiment strip stamped with Side By Side Sentiments. I won’t lie by saying that the last set waited for well over half a year to see ink!
I substituted the requested Smokey Shadow with Memento Luxe Gray Flannel ink, for the last of the first one. Thanks for visiting!

Fabulous! Love the clock face in the background.
