Tuesday Morning Sketches Guestie - Week 4

It’s the last week for me, to Guest Design for Tuesday Morning Sketches. Thank so much ladies, for the fun time :) Here’s the newest sketch:

TMS is sponsored this week, by There She Goes! I had a great time, revisiting these great stamps. I decided on inking up one of my all-time favourite sets, Spread Your Wings.

The chevron paper is from Canvas Corp. The die cut label, from Spellbinders Orchard Harvest Tags & Accents. The butterfly was coloured with Copics and touched with a little Smooch Pearlized Top Coat.
The rest include some washi tape, Kaisercraft ribbon bloom, clear rhinestones and grosgrain ribbon.

Here’s my inspiration, The Ribbon Reel challenge #37:

Tuesday Morning Sketches Guestie - Week 3

I’m this month’s Guest Designer for Tuesday Morning Sketches, and this week we’re all given this fun sketch to work with:

Along with the sketch, I was tasked to work with a cute digi stamp called Felicia, from Guylou’s Inimitability.
I’m feeling really challenged with the images I received for these sketches, as I’m not exactly a digi chick and they’re not quite my style either, but a challenge is just that! It’s good to tackle something different sometimes and find out that the result is not too bad :)

I pulled out (again!) my lovely MME papers (Miss Caroline), Labels Four Nesties (also retired Labels 4 SML) and my Copics. I did some sewing around the edges, added AnnaBelle Stamps Pearls, twill ribbon and a mulberry bloom.

Hop over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog, to see the rest of the DT’s takes on the sketch. It’s a busy time here on my bloggie, so make sure you’re not missing out on stuff and scroll down or check back often :)

Tuesday Morning Sketches Guestie - Week 2

Hi guys, I’m popping in to share another Guest Designer card, for this week’s sketch challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
Here’s the sketch:

…and my card, using the images provided by Designed2Delight, the sponsor for this week.

I die cut some MME papers (Miss Caroline) and white CS, with Classic Rectangles LG/Classic Scalloped Rectangles LG. The image was coloured with Copics.

Hop over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog, to see the rest of the DT’s takes on the sketch. Cheers,

Tuesday Morning Sketches Guestie - Week 1

Well, hello! Sitting by the computer and writing down this post is physically painful and I’ll have to take it down to a minimum. Last couple of days could have been better in terms of my mobility - my back has not improved much and I spent most of the time lying in bed with a cold pack.

On a brighter note, I’ve been asked to be a September Guest Designer at Tuesday Morning Sketches, the challenge blog that was my first ever GD gig back in 2009! How cool is that?? :)
Here’s the sketch that we’re tackling this week:

We’ve all been given images from Doodle Pantry to use as well, and such is my parrot.

The papers are from October Afternoon’s Sidewalks collection, its rich colours correspond nicely with the bird.
The die cut is Crown Circles Nesties. I sponged it with Versa Magic Turquoise Gem ink. The parrot is, of course, coloured with Copics :)

I hope you’ll pop in over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog, to see the rest of the DT’s takes on the sketch. Perhaps you’d like to join in as well, I’m pretty sure there will be a prize for grabs :)
See you later,
