With my unconditional love for patterned paper, I couldn’t find this challenge easier. I just pulled out some colourful stuff, and the rest of the card practically designed itself around it :)

Wee Memories Blog Hop - Refreshing

Welcome to another Wee Memories challenge! It’s the first Saturday of the month, and it means that we’re having a Blog Hop.
You should have arrived here from Giovana’s blog, but if you ever get lost, or want to join in now, please refer to the Wee Memories blog, for the master list of participants and info.

The theme of our challenge is Summertime.
Our fabulous sponsor is no one else but There She Goes! You can imagine a happy Chupa :)
The prize for a lucky winner is a $25 Gift Certificate to the store.

I made my sample card with the cutest set called Freeze The Moment, except from the paper pieced clouds, from Under the Weather.

Photobucket

Supplies: cardstock: American Crafts (teal), Core’Dinations (embossed yellow), white; paper: My Mind’s Eye (Stella & Rose - Mabel); stamps: Amber Ink (Freeze The Moment, Under The Weather); ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black), Versa Color (Celadon); Copics; border punch: Martha Stewart; sewing machine; baker’s twine; button; white gel pen

I stumbled upon the lovely Deconstructed sketch #8 (DS8), and I thought it would suit my idea. I paired it with the colours of PDCC88.

I’m also playing with PPA100 - What’s Your Technique? I’m not original here, I’m afraid… I love colouring with Copics, and using lovely bright papers :)

Our fabulous sponsor is Amber Ink, and I used the cute digi stamp from their Grow Green set, on my sample.

I used the lovely Lucy’s sketch again, from the Lawn Fawn challenge in the Lily Pad Cards. I’m a sucker for classic, simple layouts, that are open for interpretation.

Scrappy Saturday Challenge - Etsy/Pinterest inspiration

It’s time for another fun Scrappy Saturday challenge, over at the Wee Memories blog! The challenge this week is to be inspired by something you found on Etsy or Pinterest.

The sponsor of the challenge is May Arts, and they’re kindly offering a ribbon prize pack, to one lucky winner.

My inspiration comes from Pinterest. I love the place, and I keep some fabulous inspiration photos there. I chose probably the most loved photo from my collection, this amazing bundle of vintage bits & bobs from Heather Bullard:

This is my favourite colour combo at the moment - baby pink and teal. Add some cream, flowers and lots of lace, and I’m in my private crafty heaven :)
