CASE Study Challenge #55

Written by: iwona    17 Comments

Is it the 1st of September already?? Wow, seriously… time seem to have gained a crazy speed.

A new month also means that we’re in with a fresh new inspiration at CASE Study, which means that after a month’s break there’s a new Muse in da’ house!! Are you excited yet??

The inspiration this month will be given but none else but the talented Julie Lacey, and here’s her card for this week:

I always liked Julie’s signature matting, so I just had to use that. I also tried hard (believe me!) not to alter the image any more, after I stamped it, but in the end I succumbed to the temptation. At least now you know that is has the “Chupa” touch 😛

Supplies: cardstock: PTI (Fine Linen), American Crafts (brown), Canson (turquoise), white, recycled kraft; paper: Authentique (Journey); stamps: My Favorite Things (Inspired By Spring); ink: Memento (Rich Cocoa), Versa Color (Sand Beige); Copics; grosgrain ribbon; Dizzy Doily die: My Favorite Things; button; string; pearls: Flourish with a Bling; Liquid Pearls (Platinum); sewing machine

I used the lovely colours of CR84FN37:

This week we are saying hello to a new DT Member - Teresa Kline! I’m VERY happy to have her on board :)

I hope you’ll find the time to visit the magnificent Designers at their blogs and leave them some love!

  1. Utterly gorgeous. I think your CASE is really beautiful - all the details are there, but with your own very special touch! I do like the pearls around the image. Thanks for playing along with CR84FN!

Your comments make my day!
