Full-on with October Afternoon

Hi-ya! I thought I’d finally make an appearance, after two days’ “break in transmission”! I’ve got a card to share that’s lots of fun. I was thinking about The Mixy-Matchy Challenge in the Moxie Fab World and how I’d love to use it as an excuse for another scrappy card *smile* and I decided to dig into my stash of October Afternoon papers. Beautiful thing about these is that they all have this glorious retro feel to them that makes mixing a breeze, even between collections. Those I used are all coming from old collections, possibly three or four of these - don’t ask me to find out exactly which ones as they’re heavily cut into and most of them don’t have labels on any more. I know there’s Farmhouse there 🙂

I had such a good time with the papers, that I decided to carry OA through the rest of the card, and pasted on some chippies from Sidewalks. Added some baker’s twine and a twill ribbon bow, and I was good to go 🙂
I heavily de-CASified the FTL245 sketch for the purpose. Nasty, eh??

Oh, you may be wondering where my banners come from - I fussy cut them from a sheet of DP and distressed by inking the edges like the rest of the papers. Easy peasy.
Now, because I can’t link the individual papers used, there’s little point to make a supply list for the three or so other products I used. Please do let me know in comments, if there’s anything more you wish to know - I’ll be happy to reply. Cheers!
