CASE Study 3rd Anniversary Blog Hop

Written by: iwona    97 Comments

Woot Woot! Did you hear?? CASE Study is three years old already! It would be untrue to say that this week’s Anniversary festivities don’t make me giddy with excitement, I do in fact feel like a kid who finally gets a coveted toy… I’m extremely proud of what we’ve achieved as a Team and how this event is a kick-ass. Yep! Our amazing Muses, DT Alumni and present, all joined forces to give you some prime inspiration all week long.

Hopefully you’ve jetted here from Jocelyn’s blog, but if you wish to join us I advise you to start at the beginning at the CASE Study. Click over there to see what sweet prizes we’ve got in store for those who hop with us! *wink*

The theme of the Blog Hop is simply Inspiration; we’re sharing one of our latest and how it infused our next paper-crafting project. For me, one of the ongoing but not nurtured enough inspirations, is off the page. I’d LOVE to immerse myself in all sorts of non-card projects but because they require more time and undivided attention, this has been something that I can’t seem to pull out most of the time. Some of you may know me well enough to know that I’m always short on time :)
Anyhow, there’s a number of projects on my radar that I WILL tackle eventually (yes siree!) and one of my aims is to do more (many more…) of canvas frames like this one…

Squeal! Yes, this is my (nearly) 3 months old cutie pie. I took this photo the other day and instantly knew that it has to make its way into some sort of a project. That sentiment is totally right <3

This type of project seems to be very popular with my fellow Polish crafters, but I don’t remember seeing canvas altered in this way anywhere else. To give you an even better idea on how adorable these little pieces of art are, see the work of one of my favourite crafters, Encza. She and a few other girls are an ongoing inspiration for me and heavily influenced the shared piece as well.
Also, check out my previous attempts at altered canvas here (a bit more on an artsy side) and here!

I hope you like what I made. From here, make your way to Sarah’s blog and be amazed! Happy hopping and good luck with the prizes :)
