Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #104

Written by: iwona    11 Comments

Hello! I’m running behind with commenting on the previous sketch entries, I’m so sorry guys! There’s too much that I’ve been trying to pull off lately; so much to do and so little time! I’ll get to it ASAP, promise 🙂 Thank you everyone for playing along, I’m truly honoured and I can’t wait to check out your cards. In the meantime, how about this little number??

Traditionally, a fabulously talented friend is helping me by sharing a sample card on her blog – it’s Kimberly from Wiener Honeymooners! I already saw a sneak peek of her cards and I know she ROCKED it, so why not pop in to her blog and see what she cooked up!
As for myself, I decided to go clean… and bulky! I die cut an array of leaves, feathers, blooms and whatnot, and bunched them up underneath the dimensional banner. I haven’t done a card with so many die cuts for a long time, this was definitely a lot of fun 🙂

I took the lovely, vivid colours from cQc#204, graphics below:

If you would like to play along:

– You’re kindly asked to save the sketch image onto your computer first, and if you make a card based on it, please link back to this post.
– Share the link to your creation via the Inlinkz widget below, so that I can come and check it out!
– A new sketch is posted every other Saturday night (8pm Australian EST, 6am American EST, and the link widget is open for two weeks. However, you’re welcome to play any time! Just leave a link in the comments section and I’ll pop in to see it.
– I’ll be inviting one person who uses my sketch, to join me for the next one! I’ll be also highlighting the entries that caught my eye, on my Facebook page.
– Every now and then, I will also invite an inky friend to join me as well, for an extra dose of inspiration.

  4. Fabulous sketch, Chupa! I found out about your Sketchbook Saturday challenges through JENerally Speaking and never had time to play until now. I love your card – the colors pop right off the computer screen and the feathers are just gorgeous! Thanks for all of the inspiration!
