Hi there! I know I wrote in my previous post that I may not make an appearance before the new year kicks in, but I forgot at that time that I’ve been wanting to list my card favourites of 2012. I had a really good fun revisiting my work last time. Here are my favourite creations of the (soon to end) year, hope you enjoy!

January is when I made this little card, in under 10 minutes. Copics, paint splatters and all. Loved the result, I should really challenge myself more often, to make more time-restricted cards
February. Another Craft Dash card, but this time I made it in under 6 minutes! Never before or after I made a card this quickly, and did I mention that I’m pretty ga-ga over that look as well?
Also, this one. I love the layout, the eclectic mix of elements and most of all, how great all of those seemingly clashing, different shades of blue (aqua, navy, midnight blue, teal, robin’s egg) look paired with coral.
March. Love the fresh look, fun layout, and the Lovely Layers stamp set pretty much rocks my world. Too bad I’m often too lazy to think up a design for it :/
…also, I love the daring colour combo and mix of patterns here. And of course, my stamp set crush, The Sweet Life.
April. I selected several cards from this month. Like this one, with a lovely collage of elements…
… this cutie with an eye-popping colour duo:
…and this card that perhaps wasn’t hugely popular, but I love how it turned out
May. I love embossing with dies, such a fun technique. This is one of my first (and very CAS!) attempts, which I adore.
And finally, June and again a few selections on offer. The first one reminded me how much I love having black for the card base and how I should be doing it more often.
Also, the first from my Design Infused series. Being inspired by a piece of awesomeness is one of the best parts of card making, in fact most of my stuff evolves around that very principle. I miss this series, I haven’t done it in a while but I’m looking forward to tackling a new post soon
Although I tend to dabble in a broad range of styles, I think the one below, a sort of a semi-organized collage, is the closest to my heart. I can’t always pull it off nicely but when I do, it’s the best feeling ever. The card below, makes me happy
And the last card today, yet another attempt at embossing with dies. Rounds it up nicely to three cards featuring this technique. Shows just how I dig it, eh? I also dig PTI’s Aqua Mist cardstock and along with Soft Stone, it’s safe to say that these two rocked about half of my cards this year
That’s all for today, tune up for the follow-up tomorrow!
