We welcome a new Muse today, at CASE Study! I’m happy to say that April belongs to the awesome Jaclyn Miller and we’re kicking things off with a super cute one layer… fancy that!!

I just picked up the Mega Gracious Vases stamp set from PTI from a friend and it settled the direction I wanted to go in for my CASE, in an instant. It makes me insanely happy that one way or another, I’m slowly but steadily crossing items out from my miles-long PTI wishlist.
I decided to give the design a twist and instead of the obvious (flowers), I put a feather in one of the vases. The feather comes from PTI‘s Feather Finery, the set that had to wait surprisingly long for the first ever inking, considering the unconditional love I’ve had for it from the moment I saw the previews

I stamped the vases in Hero Arts Shadow / Mid-Tone inks, except from the yellow one which I used PTI’s ink for. I noticed that HA inks dried flat while PTI Lemon Tart left a slightly raised impression - you can distinguish those two looks on the photos above. I love discovering the little fun facts about my supplies!
